MTSS & Student Support Leadership
"Making sure no kid falls through the cracks, and no teacher has to figure it out alone."
The challenge
Academic, behavior, and attendance concerns are complicated, and helping kids takes real collaboration, good data, and a steady process.
My leadership
As MTSS/IAT Coordinator, I run our problem-solving meetings start to finish, bringing teachers, specialists, administrators, and families together to figure out what a student needs and build a plan. That means reviewing the data, guiding the conversation, helping pick interventions that fit, writing and monitoring the plans, keeping families in the loop, and following up to adjust when something isn't working.
The impact
Teachers have a clear process instead of guesswork, families become real partners, and kids get plans built around both what they need now and where they're headed.
