Partnering with Families

"Giving families simple, real ways to be part of their kid's learning."

The challenge

Families matter enormously, but real engagement is more than sending a flyer home.

My leadership

I've designed literacy events, take-home activities, and family communication that make learning at home approachable, like our parent-teacher conference reading club table with free books, handouts, and a candy guessing game where kids won newly donated books the next day.

The impact

Stronger home-school connections, more family participation, and resources parents actually felt confident using.

Family engagement isn't about asking parents to do more. It's about giving them real ways to be part of their child's learning.
